After a two-year break from releasing music while studying horticulture, Seaker (Kiran Hungin) returns with new song ‘Fracture’.

Humans are strange beings containing layers and emotions that can feel in conflict with one another. ‘Fracture’ explores the effect of inviting the difficult bits of ourselves into the conversation. It’s a song about marrying our dark to our light; even a harsh inner critic may just need a soft place to land.

“Understanding ourselves as holistic beings can be tricky. I have wrestled with my own vulnerabilities and am learning that light and dark are symbiotic - that we need to examine and befriend all those uncomfortable parts of ourselves that can bring shame. Working with plants and nature has taught me a lot about patience, about learning to accept what is in our control and what isn’t. We have much to learn from the earth in this respect.  Fracture is a conversation between different parts of us that are trying to make friends.” - Seaker

Sonically, ‘Fracture’ is soft and intimate. Raw vocals and layered harmonies sit at the forefront of an understated arrangement, with acoustic guitar weaving throughout.

Past support includes 6Music, Guy Garvey, Simon Raymonde, Amazing Radio, Gold Flake Paint, Clint Boon and Nihal Arthanayake.

Written/produced by Seaker. Mixed and mastered by Buzz Allan.
